A highly unusual Arts and Crafts brass ornamental watering can. The form appears to be a chinese vase-shaped body surmounted by a classical oil lamp, the carrying handle is bold scroll sweep from the spout to the body of the vase.

Signed By Benham and Froud and the design possibly attributable to Christopher Dresser. The design was registered in 1885 ref 36698.
