A set of four Regency painted music chairs. Each is enriched with a carved splat depicting a caduceus surmounted by the cap of mercury. The chairs stand on sabre legs and are upholstered with period, possibly original needlework of neo-classical objects.

The paintwork is of a charmingly distressed nature.
